- Ensures the proper operation of the restaurant, supervises and guides the waiters according to the company’s quality standards. (see responsibilities of waiters and dinner)
- Helps the Director with the budgeting and costing
- Makes the relevant weekly stock count with the team and proceeds with the order
- Talks and meet with the clients before the event and arrange for the relevant details needed.
- Provides excellent customer service and ensures customer satisfaction.
- Acts as a team leader
- Ensures a positive atmosphere among team members.
- Provides advice and guides the teams
- Contributes to the development of the skills of its team staff.
- It treats all team members fairly & with respect.
- Collaborates with team members to ensure proper product presentation and appropriate food handling procedures.
- Handles customer complaints. He is able to handle the complaints of ‘difficult’ clients with a friendly / calm attitude.
- Schedules and implements regular meetings of staff to ensure that the Company’s procedures is properly followed and to correct any weaknesses that come to its attention on the service.
- Makes out his work plan (allocation of staff) based on the needs of the Venue
- Comes close to customers by promoting the good image of the business.
