IT Support System Engineer

Our client, a start-up Forex Company in Limassol, is looking for an office IT Support Engineer. This is a new position aimed to establish a foundation of excellent user support service in the Company. This is a highly collaborative role, whose ultimate goal is to provide an effective work environment for the employees, helping them to spend minimum time on technical issues and concentrate on achieving business results. The System engineer reports to the Head of IT.

IT onboarding / offboarding process for employees
End user hardware configuration and troubleshooting
System access management
Act as a single point of contact for general IT questions or assistance
Designs and supports Service Desk process, forms and tools
Development of IT Service Catalog, defining and management of SLAs
Procurement of IT equipment, accessories, services
Management of hardware repair and maintenance with 3rd party service centers / providers
Automation for various IT processes
Management of office network (LAN, WLAN)
Supervision of CCTV and access control systems operation
Management of ISP(s) for the office internet connections
Meeting room equipment (audio / video) configuration

At least 3 years of experience in IT user support (Helpdesk or similar role)
Excellent communication skills, politeness, ability to explain technical issues for non-technical audience, empathy, service orientation
Ability to quickly analyse a problem (sometimes having limited data) and propose solution
Administration of Mac, Linux and Windows user OS (at least two of them)
ITSM fundamentals: service request fulfillment, access management, incident management, problem management
Experience in centralized software deployment and policies management
Basic experience in IT services monitoring
Network basics: understanding of IP addressing, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, routing
Telephony: SIP basics, configuration of simple dial plan, coordinate more complex setups with global team or external provider
Any scripting languages (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.) and / or programming basics
English skills are must
Russian skills are a plus
Any industry certification is a plus
IT Security foundations is a plus

The working hours: 09:00 a.m. ā€“ 18:00 p.m.
