MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with all laws and/or regulatory requirements including but not limited to any requirements of the Central Bank of Cyprus and and/or any other competent body and/or authority.
Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and systematically, create, update, implement, monitor, and enforce policies, procedures, guidelines, manuals and provide effective advice, support, and training.
Manage regulatory reporting processes and liaise and coordinate with authorities and external advisors and/or clients of the Company.
Ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering Laws and Regulations, Sanction, monitor and carry out due diligence and Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) procedures and assist in the reporting of suspicious transactions to ensure compliance with all applicable Laws and Regulations.
Consult on a wide range of commercial agreements and maintain templates that comply with company policies and local laws, including but not limited to drafting, reviewing, and interpreting legal and compliance policies and procedures.
Assist with changes to the corporate structure and other corporate matters and affairs of the company.
Advise on legal issues and risks, complex agreement structures and company policies.
Providing general Company Secretarial administrative support, including the writing of minutes, preparing of agendas, circulating information and notices, preparing resolutions, etc.
Deal with variety of topics related to the operations of the company including but not limited to M&As, takeovers, mergers, assets and/or shares acquisitions.
Bachelor of Law degree (LLB)
A minimum of 4 years’ experience within the financial services sector
CySec Advance and/or AML Certification and/or any other professional qualifications will be considered an advantage
Fluent in Greek and English languages at a professional level
Able to articulate one’s views in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent listening skills, analytical and problem-solving attitude
Creative and critical thinker, comfortable challenging the status quo and proposing innovative, constructive solutions to address business challenges.
Able to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment.
Collaborative working style, with the ability to identify and organize resources required to deliver on projects.
Our Client offers an attractive remuneration package including medical insurance.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00 with a 1-hour lunch break.
