Risk Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Continuous monitoring of market, credit, and liquidity risks associated with the company’s trading operations, including both client and own trades;
• Developing and maintaining risk management policies in compliance with CySEC and MiFID II requirements.
• Conducting stress testing and VaR analysis to assess potential losses.
• Analyzing client activity, identifying anomalies, and preventing market manipulation.
• Managing execution risks and ensuring compliance with risk limits. Establishing and monitoring trading limits per counterparty and per specific security issue
• Interacting with regulators.
• Developing and implementing automated risk control systems: identifying key risk parameters/criteria for risk assessment.
• Preparing risk reports and providing recommendations to management, submitting regulatory reports (e.g. IFR Form 165-01)

Qualifications & Requirements:
• A higher education degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics.
• At least 3 years of experience in risk management within a brokerage/investment firm, or investment bank.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, trading instruments (bonds, stocks, derivatives, money market instruments), and pricing mechanisms.
• Proficiency in market risk analysis, stress testing, and scenario modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements under CySEC, ESMA, and MiFID II.
• Experience working with analytical tools such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Python, R, SQL, and Excel VBA.
• Fluency in English and Russian.

Holding CFA, FRM, or similar certifications would be an additional advantage.
