Our client a Cyprus-based privately-held holding and investment company based in Limassol and engaged in Green Energy, Development and Hospitality business are looking to recruit a Russian speaking Corporate lawyer

The company:
We are a vibrant investment holding company that runs number of projects including real estate construction and development, renewable energy and private equity. We are looking for a corporate lawyer to provide legal support in the day to day legal tasks to the company. The work of the corporate lawyer includes but not limited to corporate drafting and research, work on debt and equity transactions, as the Company we provide debt funding to a number of developers in Europe, US, New Zealand in residential and commercial real estate projects; and assistance in litigation in Cyprus and worldwide.

Job Requirements:
Ideal Candidate would require knowledge and skills to:
Preparing and conducting KYC, filling forms and filing
Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing various contracts
Taking minutes and drafting resolutions of the governing bodies of the Company and other group entities
Legal support in research and analysis for senior team on disputes (litigation, arbitration, adjudication, claims) and strategy
Drafting and negotiating transactional documents
Managing international issues of the Company’s group, liaising with the Corporate service providers and third parties
Ensuring compliance with internal corporate rules and procedures executed in the Company’s group
Liaising with and coordination of external legal advisers, agents and consultants of the Company’s group on various matters, interaction with administrators, cooperation with counterparts
Legal support of KYC procedures and other compliance procedures
Translation of documentation
Dealing with ad hoc requests as required
Fluency in Russian and English is required
Your duties can include any other additional duties required by the Company

Qualifications requirements:
The candidate should have a law degree (or GDL conversion course) in England or Cyprus
LPC (England and Wales) or equivalent is required
2 years post LPC experience or equivalent of supervised 2 years corporate legal experience is required
Solicitor (Advocate)*NQ level is preferred

Salary and benefits
Annual salary – competitive, around 40,000 Euro (gross);
vacation – 21 business days, sick leave – 3 days to be increased after first year of employment to 22 days and 4 days and after second year to 24 days and 5 days, respectively.
Annual bonus in case of good performance.
Medical insurance
Probation period – 6 months.
Office in Limassol
