On behalf of our client an established Trading company, GRS are seeking to recruit a Russian Speaking Methodological Accountant. The successful candidate must have previous experience in an Accounting role and good knowledge of IFRS and Consolidations and must be native/fluent in Russian and English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support of the unified processes for 9 Trading group companies
Consolidation of the group accounts on a periodic basis
Producing of monthly management accounts
Year-end statutory reporting
Preparing financial analysis
Liaising with key stakeholders and auditors
Identifying ways of improving processes
Determine the P&L and balance sheet impact of the new standard for budgeting, forecasting, monthly management reporting and annual statutory reporting purposes
Prepare transition notes, proforma primary statements and supporting narrative disclosure for the annual consolidated financial statements
Operate as key contact for external auditors regarding the transition impact, clearly document the approach taken and see this work through to completion
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Degree in Accounting and Finance or any other relevant field
At least 5 years of experience in an Accounting role and extensive experience with IFRS and Consolidations
IFRS knowledge
Consolidation’s experience is a must
GAAP knowledge
Accounting knowledge related to goods’ trading activity
Analytical skills and ability to work with big mass of text information in order to classify it
Fluency in Russian and English is a must – reading and writing
SAP knowledge is a plus
Proactive
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel)
