Senior Back-Office Specialist (Russian-Speaking)

CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and highly respected CySEC Regulated Investment Firm, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Back-Office Specialist to join their expanding team based in Nicosia. The successful applicant will ideally hold 2+ years of relevant professional experience from an Investment Firm, speak Russian and English to a fluent level and be a holder of a relevant CySEC Certification.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Handling clients’ post-trade processing and settlement of trades with securities, derivatives, REPO and FX trades as well as clients’ non-trade orders.
  • Processing daily transactions and reconciliations of assets between brokers, custodians and banks.
  • Resolving any reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Preparation and timely submission of Regulatory reports (MiFIR, EMIR and SFTR), as well as preparation of internal control reports.
  • Sending via email client reports on a daily basis.
  • Maintenance of corporate actions.
  • All administrative functions to support the client’s transactions.
  • Any other Ad-hoc activities not listed above, that may occur on an as and when basis.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • University Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in brokerage.
  • Fluency in English and Russian (verbal and written).
  • Holder of a relevant CySEC Certification.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Multitasking, quick learning skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • Accurate with good attention to details.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
  • Ability to work under stress.
