Cyprus Job Market

We are looking to recruit a motivated, professional individual for the position of Sous Chef in Nicosia, reporting directly to the Head Chef.

In this position you will ensure the smooth running of all aspects of our highly equipped kitchen and managing more than 50 Line Chefs along with the Head Chef. Our high-volume kitchen produces more than 4000 meals daily.

Sous Chef

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Control of food quality and food production
  • Assist the Head Chef in the supervision of all the team and food preparation in accordance with the company’s standards
  • Adhere to all procedures regarding Health & safety and HACCP standards
  • Manage and train kitchen team
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with the team

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar position
  • Good knowledge of Greek and English languages
  • Ability to work in a fast – paced environment
  • Excellent communication and team work skills
  • Good knowledge of MS office
  • Available to work on a high demanding schedule, shifts, public holidays
